Research Desk Professional 2005 Help Documents
Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > Menus and Toolbars
Use the options here to customize the display and behavior of
Research-Desk Professional's menus and toolbars.

Menus and Toolbars
|
- Dim icons to gray except on mouse hover - If this item is
checked you’ll notice that the icons the Research-Desk
screen will be gray, except when you mouse over them. If you prefer
to see your icons, leave this item unchecked.
- Personalize Favorites Menu - show recently visited websites first
- Animate Menus - If this item is checked you’ll notice
that when you mouse over menu items, you will see some animation.

Menu and Toolbar Style

Choose a style to be used for your display:
- 1997 Style (Fastest)
- 2000 Style
- 2002 XP Style (Fanciest)
Play around with these styles to see which you like best!

General:

- Shrink Document Tabs - If this item is checked,
Research-Desk will shrink the document tabs to
avoid horizontal scrolling
- Automatically Maximize New Document Windows - If
this item is checked, Research-Desk will automatically
maximize new document windows.
- Cover Task Bar in Fullscreen Mode - If this item is checked
when you go into full screen mode (F11) the task bar at the bottom of
your screen will be covered. If it is unchecked, when you are in full
screen mode, your task bar will be visible.
