Select Research-Desk Tools, Options, then click on
the File Associations category to access this dialog. For each document type (.html, .zip, .doc, .xls, etc),
File Associations determine the default application that is used by
Windows to open that document. For example, if .doc files (Word Documents) are
associated with Research-Desk, double-clicking a Word Document on the
Desktop will open that document in Research-Desk.
Research-Desk also enables you to restore file
associations to their default settings:
Click on Reset under Web Browsing
in the File Associations dialog to restore Microsoft Internet Explorer
as the default web browser.
Click on Reset under Microsoft Office
Documents in the File Associations dialog to restore the individual
Microsoft Office applications as default for opening Microsoft Office
documents.
