Did you know that any time you visit a site, the site deposits
a cookie (or a record) onto your computer? They do this so it is
easier for them to track your usage on their site. But from a
privacy standpoint - anyone who had access to your computer can
see which a record of which sites you’ve visited.
Private IE makes it easy to protect your privacy and clear all
cookies from your computer.
During a web browsing session you simply open Private IE and
locate Clear Browser Cookies
(on the left hand side of the screen).
Choose one of the following options:
- All Sites - Choosing this option
sets Private IE to delete all Cookies.
- All Except Browser Security : Low
(Trusted Sites) - In your browser, you can categorize
websites based on how much you trust them. If you choose this
option, cookies from all Browser Security : Medium
(Unclassified Sites) and Browser
Security : High (Restricted Sites) will be deleted.
- Browser Security : High (Restricted
Sites) Only - Choosing this option sets Private IE to delete
cookies from all sites that you have classified as
Browser Security : High (Restricted Sites).
Once you have made your choice, press the button labelled
Clear Now and your Cookies will be
cleared.
