Close Captioned Support:
Close captioned is a system that displays the current conversations or dialog. It displays this dialog as text for the deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers. Subtitle Support: Subtitles are words, which are superimposed over a film that mirror the conversations heard at the time. Most often subtitles are used because the movie is in a different language, and needs to be translated for another audience. For example a French movie, may keep the original French dialog. But to make this movie viewable for an American audience, a version with English subtitles was made. PC Theater offers full support for both Close Captioned and Subtitled DVDs. PC Theater will scan the DVD and recognize these two features. Support for these two features is automatic. You do not need to turn on any controls to make them function correctly. Multi-Language Support: Multi-language support means that if you own a DVD from Japan, and the dialog is in Japanese, PC Theater will recognize this fact and still play the movie with Japanese dialog. It will not try to convert the movie for you.
