Using SnapZip to compress or zip your Outlook email attachments is easy. Here's an example of how it works.
Step 1: Open a new email message and attach images.
Step 2: Turn SnapZip on by pressing the SnapZip button. (This is outlined in red in the picture below)
Step 3: Pick which kind of image reduction you'd like:
- Automatically reduce for screen quality
- Never reduce for screen quality
- Ask each time
Since Anne's mom is on a dial up connection, Anne has chosen to reduce her images to screen quality, so they will be smaller and faster for her mom to open them. This choice is highlighted in red in the picture below.

Step 4: Send the email
Just press send and SnapZip will automatically compress and zip your email attachments.
