URL shortcuts allow you to save time by saving frequent searches, logins, passwords and more.
Secure IE 2007 makes it easy to save these shortcuts, either manually or automatically.
For example, on MSN.com, locate the search button. Next right click on the search button and choose the option "Add Shortcut".

The Shortcut dialog box will pop-up. Notice that it has already filled in all the information you need.

Check "Automatically Submit Shortcut", if you’d like to have your search submitted automatically. If not, uncheck.
Then press Save Shortcut.
How does a shortcut save you time?
Now that your shortcut is set-up, you only have to type in a few letters to get the webpage you want.
The next time you time you want to perform a search using msn.com, simply type the shortcut (msn) into the browser window. Then add a space and type in your search word (mine is dogs). Press Enter and you’ll be taken directly to your search results.
