Secure IE 2007 Help Documents
Select Tools, Preferences,
then click on the File
Associations category to access this dialog.
For each document type (.html, .zip, .doc, .xls, etc),
File Associations determine the
default application that is used by Windows to open that
document. For example, if .htm files (HTML Files) are
associated with Secure IE,
double-clicking a HTML File on the
Desktop will open that file in
Secure IE.
To restore file associations to their
default settings:
- Click on Reset under
Web Browsing in the
File Associations dialog
to restore Microsoft Internet Explorer as the default web
browser.
- Click on Reset under
Microsoft Office Documents
in the File Associations
dialog to restore the individual Microsoft Office
applications as default for opening Microsoft Office
documents
Note that Microsoft Office document settings and editing is
available only in
Research-Desk Professional.
