Standard Toolbar
|
Use the buttons on this toolbar to:
- Open new documents - web browser window, file transfer, Microsoft
Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Save any of these files
- Open the File Transfer Manager
- Download a file
- Open a new browser tab
- Open a second workspace (another Research-Desk browser)
- Save
- Email
- Print
- Find text within the webpage
- Search using popular search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo, Altavista, etc.)

Browser Toolbar

Use the buttons to this toolbar to:
- Move Back and Forward
- Stop Transfers
- Refresh webpage
- Go to you Homepage
- Lock the Browser
- Highlight Text
- Insert a Sticky Note

File Transfer Toolbar
|
Use the buttons on this toolbar to:
- Start a download
- Stop a download
- Add a download
- Delete a download
|
Layer Toolbar
|
The names of the layers appear on buttons near the top-right of the
Research-Desk screen. To view a specific layer, click the corresponding
layer button. Think of using Workspaces and Layers similarly to the way
you would use Workbooks and Worksheets within Microsoft Excel.

Browser Security Toolbar
|
Use the buttons in this toolbar to:
- Block or allow popups
- Block or allow Flash
- Block or allow ActiveX
- Access the Research-Desk Security Manager
