Easy Access to Search Engines
|
|
In Research-Desk Professional, we've created a shortcut with a list of the
most popular search engines. In the browser window, you'll now see an
integrated Google search
box. Simply type in what you'd like to search for and then select which
search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo, or Dictionary) that you'd like to search.
After you hit enter, you'll be taken directly to the search results.

What are Address Bar Shortcuts?
|
Address Bar Shortcuts are short words (perhaps as short as two letters) that
you can type in the Browser's Address Bar (where you normally type in a URL).
Research-Desk features this time saving address shortcut to provide you with
direct access to search engines and web services. For example, when you type
in "go jumping jacks" in Research-Desk’s address bar and press Enter, it
automatically searches for the phrase "jumping jacks" using Google.
