Pausing Downloads
|
Click on the Stop button in the File Transfer Toolbar or in the File
Transfer Manager window to pause the download.
To pause multiple downloads highlight the corresponding entries in the
File Transfer Manager window (hold down the CTRL or Shift
keys while selecting to select multiple entries) and then click on the Stop
button.
To pause all file downloads immediately select Stop All File Transfers
from the View, Stop menu.

Resuming Paused or Interrupted Downloads
|
Click on the Start button in the File Transfer Toolbar or in the
File Transfer Manager to resume paused or interrupted downloads.
Whenever possible, instead of restarting an interrupted download from the
beginning, Research-Desk automatically resumes the interrupted
download from where it was interrupted. This saves download time. However,
some web sites do not support the resume features of the FTP and HTTP protocols.
When this happens, Research-Desk automatically restarts the download from
the very beginning.
