Research Desk Professional 2005 Help Documents

   File Download Settings
 File Download Settings
Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Downloads to change file download settings.

The File Download Settings dialog window allows you to change the following settings:
  • The types of files that are automatically downloaded
  • The folder that downloaded files are saved in
  • The number of simultaneous downloads
  • Whether interrupted file downloads are automatically rolled-back (i.e., overlapped) to ensure file integrity.
  • Whether downloaded files are automatically scanned for viruses, and which virus scanner to use
