Customizing File Dialogs

Customizing File Dialogs Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Dialogs This feature allows you to create shortcuts for folders that you frequently open or save to. In Research-Desk Professional, select File > Open. Notice the bar on the left. With Research-Desk you can add your favorite folders to this bar for easy access. Here’s how: Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Dialogs Select Use the Folders Listed Below Either enter a Folder Path or click on the button on the right to browse and locate your selected Folder Hit OK The next time you go to Save or Open, your selected Folders will appear in the left hand bar.
