   Customizing File Dialogs
 Customizing File Dialogs
Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Dialogs

This feature allows you to create shortcuts for folders that you frequently open or save to. In Research-Desk Professional, select File > Open. Notice the bar on the left. With Research-Desk you can add your favorite folders to this bar for easy access.

Here’s how:
  • Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Dialogs
  • Select Use the Folders Listed Below
  • Either enter a Folder Path or click on the button on the right to browse and locate your selected Folder
  • Hit OK


The next time you go to Save or Open, your selected Folders will appear in the left hand bar.
