Customizing File Associations

Customizing File Associations Select Research-Desk Tools > Preferences > File Associations For each document type (.html, .zip, .doc, .xls, etc), File Associations determine the default application that is used by Windows to open that document. For example, if .doc files (Word Documents) are associated with Research-Desk Professional, double-clicking a Word Document on the Desktop will open that document in Research-Desk.
