Browse Dozens of Web Pages, Edit Dozens of Microsoft Office
documents simultaneously with Research-Desk's Patent-Pending User Interface!
|
|
Research-Desk's innovative yet intuitive user interface is
based on a tabbed document metaphor - with each tab representing
a single open document. Use the Document Tab Bar or the Layer
Manager to easily switch between web pages. You can also tile and
arrange windows to view them side-by-side.

Uses proven Microsoft Office and Internet
Explorer technology and file formats
|
Create workspaces
|
|
When you use tabs to open multiple documents it's called a workspace.

For example, you can have a workspace containing:
- 2 PowerPoint presentations
- 3 web pages
- 2 Excel spreadsheets
You can save all of these documents together in one workspace. When you want
to access that information, say the following morning, you only have to open
that one workspace. Research-Desk will automatically open all associated
documents. This time saving feature eliminates the need to individually locate
and open each file. You can even email the workspace to a co-worker, which makes
sharing files and research much easier!

Search Workspace
|
|
Looking for something? It’s easy to search with Research-Desk! Simply type in
the word or a phrase that you’re looking for and hit Go.
Research-Desk will search across all open documents and generate a clickable
list of Search results.

Integrated Google Search Box
|
|
In Research-Desk, we've created a shortcut with a list of the most popular search
engines. In the browser window, you'll now see a Google search box. Simply type in what
you'd like to search for and then select which search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo,
or Dictionary) that you'd like to search. After you hit enter, you'll be taken
directly to the search results.

Grammar and Spell Checking Features
|
|
Research-Desk enables you to use the full editing capabilities of Microsoft Word
- including grammar and spell checking - when entering text in web page text areas.
You can save the text after entering it, and even insert a Word document
into the text area.
|
Block popups, Flash and ActiveX with one click
|
|
With one click, easily block or allow popups, Flash and ActiveX.

|
Save Complete Web Pages for future reference, even save secure server
pages to keep online transaction receipts
|
|
Research-Desk's patent pending PageSnap™ technology saves an accurate
representation of a web page (including frames, style sheets, images,
java, links, etc) as single file. The web page saving feature is
significantly more advanced than that of Microsoft Internet Explorer -
it works much faster, saves framed web pages, saves secure server (HTTPS)
web pages, and much more.
You can even save web pages as PDF's
