How are
Documents and
Workspaces Related?
Although each
document within the
workspace is saved
separately and apart
from the workspace,
each document is
however linked to
the workspace so
that any changes in
individual documents
are reflected in its
workspace.
Each workspace saved
will include all of
the individual
documents and their
respective layers
in one
common file for easy
access.
For example, if you
have a workspace
open containing 2
PowerPoint
presentations, 3 web
pages and 2 Excel
spreadsheets*, you
can save all of
those documents
together in one
workspace. When you
want access that
information, say the
following morning,
you only have to
open that workspace.
Research-Desk will
automatically open
all associated
documents as well.
There is no need to
individually locate
and open each file.
