Research-Desk works in conjunction with popular anti-virus
application such as Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus®,
and Network Associates' McAfee Virus Scan® and
automatically runs a virus check on downloaded files. Change File Download Settings to
customize this behavior.
If you have Norton AntiVirus or McAfee Virus Scan installed,
Research-Desk automatically configures itself with an appropriate command line
to virus-scan downloaded files.
If you have another virus-scanner, you should type in an
appropriate command line that Research-Desk can use to invoke the virus-scanner.
Please refer to the documentation supplied with your virus-scanning software to
determine the appropriate command line. Use the
File Download Settings dialog to customize this behavior.
