The Research-Desk
environment incorporates a File Transfer Manager to intelligently stream file
downloads in the background. You can simultaneously download files from HTTP and
FTP servers, pause and resume interrupted downloads, and even rename or relocate
files while they are being downloaded.
Most importantly, Research-Desk automatically scans downloaded files for
viruses (requires third-party virus scanner such as Norton, McAfee, or
other)
