When you turn on your PC do programs automatically start-up? Why does this happen?

Simple - it’s because of feature called Automatic Start-up. For programs you use all the time, this feature can be convenient. But oftentimes it’s just a nuisance and seriously slows down your PC.

When you install a new program there is often an option to "start-up automatically" and more times than not, this option is checked and you have to manually turn it off. In a rush to finish installation, this buried option is easily overlooked. And before you know it, every time you turn on your PC, you have to wait for 15 programs to load.

Registry Power Cleaner makes it easy to manage your automatic start-up programs.

To turn off automatic start-up features:

1. Simply open Registry Power Cleaner and click on the Edit My Start-Up Programs button (on the left hand side of the screen).
2. Registry Power Cleaner will have already scanned your PC and created a list of your start-up programs.
3. To turn off start-up features for a program, simply uncheck it. (You can uncheck as many as you like)
4. To leave on start-up features for a program, simply leave it as is or check it.
5. Next press the Save Settings button to save your changes. The next time you start up your PC, the changes will be applied.

To turn on automatic start-up features:
