Custom Scans

Choosing the Custom Scan feature, allows you customize which scans you'd like to perform.

Here's a list of your scan options: (To see a description of a scan, just click on it)

• Fonts
• Shared DLLs
• Start-Up Items
• Uninstalled Programs
• Virtual Devices
• File Extensions
• Components
• Shortcuts
• System Tools
• Start Menu Items
• Help Files
• Application Paths
• Type Libraries
• Browser Helper Objects
• File Associations

Choose the scans you’d like by checking the boxes next to the scan name. If you change your mind and decide not to perform one of the scans, just uncheck the box.

After you've made your selections, press the Scan Now button.

While scanning, notice that in the list of scans, some of the items have changed colors.

If an item is grey, this means that scan is complete. The number next to the scan indicates the number of problems found.

If an item is blue, this means it is currently being scanned.

To Stop the scan at any point, simply press the Stop button.
