What is Private IE?
Private IE is an easy to use program that protects your privacy by wiping clean sensitive personal information stored on your computer!
  • You can customize Private IE's options to delete only the files and records you wish or delete them all.
  • Private IE can be set to run automatically and will perform the tasks you choose anytime you end a web browsing session.

Private IE and Security Zones
Security Zones are simple a way to classify websites into three security categories - Browser Security : Low, Browser Security : Medium and Browser Security : High. Each category has limits on what it will allow a website to do.


Security Zones
Browser Security : Low (Trusted Sites)
This zone is for sites that you trust (such as your bank) and feel comfortable allowing certain security privileges (such as ActiveX, cookies, Java, etc.).

Browser Security : Medium (Unclassified Sites)
This zone is for sites that you haven't classified or you're not sure of.

Browser Security : High (Restricted Sites)
This zone is for sites that you don't trust and want to restrict the access they have to your PC. This setting protects your PC by not allowing these sites certain privileges such as ActiveX, cookies, file downloads, etc.

Private IE allows you to Clear Browser History, Clear Browser Cache and Clear Browser Cookies for:
  • All Sites
  • All except Trusted Sites or Browser Security Low
  • Restricted Sites only or Browser Security High
With Private IE you can automatically:
